Stress is not a disease, yet it can aggravate numerous conditions relating to degenerative diseases. It is known to bring on throbbing pains to the body of drug addictors. When the body undergoes long periods of stress, the adrenal glands increases its production of corticosteroids. These corticosteroids are capable of depressing the immune function, and this is what makes one vulnerable to different types of illnesses. The organ that is weakest is usually the organ that is prone for attack of a degenerative disease.
It is important for you to know what causes stress and how the body can cope with this condition. Stress evolves from “Distress” therefore it is important to know how to “de-stress” from “Distress.”

If stress contributes to ill-health, then it is obvious that the reduction of stress in one’s life should promote healing and more important is the person’s ability to cope with Stress.
